Railroad Bill (in development)
When all your laws are unjust, your only hero is an outlaw.
Confronted by racist lawmen and monied railroads, a turpentine worker resorts to robbing the freight trains of the rich to give to the poor. Armed only with a Winchester and his wits, he fights the injustices of the 1890s South, setting him on the track to become the historic outlaw, folk hero and American myth known as Railroad Bill.
Production Notes
After years of research and writing, the legend of Railroad Bill has been pulled out from a century of folk tunes and tall tales and into a dynamic and authentic feature-length screenplay. As shepherds of this development phase, we are excited to find the next batch of storytellers (director, producers, talent, investors) who also find themselves caught up in the inevitability of bringing Railroad Bill’s story to the big screen for the first time.
